- Sallis- Ecological Models
- Our lifestyle is virtually killing us - by 2035, if we stay on the current tracjectory the entire state budget would be expended on health
- Local Governments are key
- supermarkets - 3 to 4 days - this does not take into account social disruption and panic buying
- wheels on meals
- food deserts
- State of Australian Cities Conference
- how much energy does our community (MW) consume?
- How much water does our community consume?
- How much food does our community consume? What part of it is nutrituous food - maybe a better question is how much food does an average person really require to remain healthy and active and more imporatntly how many days supply is there in the ward brfore we would run out if supply lines where disrupted.
- How much food can MW produce?
- How much waste does our community generate and where does it all go?
- Today listening to the opening speeches of the 2020 summit I heard the governor General remind us thta with 6 billion people on the planet we are already using 20% more resources than we can sustain in the long term... therefore what would it look like in MW if we had use 20%less of everything - 20%less energy, 20%less water, 20% less fuel. If we have to use 20% less where do we take it from. What trips do we not take, what food goods do we not eat, what electricity do we not use
- where does our fuel come from, our electricity, our food - ergo what happens if a part of the supply chain is effected how does it effect us and the things we rely on - thinking on you would then have to ask what is the likely hood of something happening
